Transparency and good communication are fundamental to establishing a relationship with a primary care provider. Find the answers to some of the questions you might have before your visit:

What is internal medicine?

Internists help patients with early disease detection and disease prevention. Internal medicine assesses multiple medical conditions and health concerns, including complex or unexplained symptoms; advice on lifestyle and diet, wellness, substance abuse, mental health; and redirecting patients to a specialist when required.

Why is it important to check my health periodically?

By having regular check-ups, patients can identify early signs of health issues. Receiving an early diagnosis means that you can treat your condition before it poses a high risk.

Can I schedule an appointment with the Dr. without medical insurance?

Yes. We care for our patients, regardless of their insurance status. We accept Medicare, self-paying, and insured patients.

Are my medical records private?

Yes. As a health care provider, our office may send copies of your records to another provider or health plan only as needed for treatment or payment or with your permission.
